Build for problems
you've never seen.

We match proven builders with people in industries they've never worked in — trades, logistics, agriculture, construction, you name it. You sprint together for 2 weeks. If something clicks, we help you structure a real partnership.

The Problem

The smartest builders are in a bubble.

You're building another SaaS for other SaaS companies. Meanwhile, a plumber is losing $40K/year to scheduling gaps nobody's solving. The Splice fixes that.

The Blind Spot

Builders solve problems they already know. But the biggest opportunities are in industries they've never stepped foot in. Trades, healthcare, agriculture, construction — these sectors are drowning in fixable pain.

The Gap

Industry people know exactly what's broken but can't build the fix. Builders can build anything but don't know what's broken. These two groups almost never meet.

The Match

We introduce them. Intentionally. A builder gets paired with an industry insider — someone with a real problem, real context, and real stakes. No hypotheticals.

The Sprint

They work together for 2 weeks on a focused build. The industry partner brings the problem and domain knowledge. The builder brings the solution. We structure the whole thing.

Who This Is For

Two sides. One room.

The Splice needs both builders and industry partners. Here's who belongs on each side.

Builders

You can ship — you just need a harder problem.

  • You've built and launched at least one product
  • You're a developer, designer, or technical founder
  • You're tired of building for other tech companies
  • You want exposure to real-world industries and problems
  • You can commit 10–15 hours over a 2-week sprint
Industry Partners

You know what's broken — you just need someone who builds.

  • You work in trades, logistics, healthcare, construction, agriculture, or similar
  • You have a specific, painful problem that technology could solve
  • You can articulate the problem and provide real-world context
  • You're open to a potential partnership if the sprint goes well
  • You can commit 5–8 hours over a 2-week sprint for feedback and guidance
How It Works

Four phases. Two weeks. One build.

We handle the matching, the structure, and the partnership framework. You just show up and build.

Phase 1

Apply & get vetted

Both builders and industry partners register interest. We review every submission. Builders are selected based on shipping ability. Industry partners are selected based on problem clarity and commitment.

Phase 2

Get matched

We pair one builder with one industry partner based on skills, interests, and problem fit. You get introduced with full context on both sides — the problem, the person, and the goal.

Phase 3

Sprint together

Two weeks. The builder explores the problem space, prototypes a solution, and iterates with real-time feedback from the industry partner. We provide a structured sprint framework and check-ins.

Phase 4

Ship & decide

At the end of the sprint, you present what you built. If both sides want to continue, we help structure a partnership — equity splits, revenue sharing, roles, and next steps. If not, you walk away with a new perspective.

What You Walk Away With

Even if it doesn't become a company.

Every sprint produces something valuable — whether that's a partnership, a prototype, or just a new way of seeing the world.

Real Problems

Exposure to pain points worth millions that you'd never discover scrolling Product Hunt. Problems people will actually pay to have solved.

A Working Prototype

Two weeks is enough to validate an idea and build a v0. You leave with something tangible, not just a pitch deck.

Partnership Framework

If both sides want to continue, we help structure it — equity, revenue splits, roles, IP. No guessing, no awkward conversations.

Industry Access

A direct line into an industry you've never had access to. The insider knowledge, the contacts, the real dynamics — not just surface-level research.

New Network

Both sides expand beyond their usual circles. Builders meet operators. Operators meet the people who can actually solve their problems.

Portfolio Piece

Whether it turns into a business or not, you've got a compelling project with a real stakeholder. That's worth more than another side project.
